Amna Hilal

MD, FAAP

Dr. Amna Hilal, a New Jersey native, completed her medical training at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in their combined 6-year B.A./M.D. program. She went on to complete her Pediatric Residency training at Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York, before moving to Toronto for a Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children where she also served as Chief Fellow.

Dr. Hilal has always had a particular interest in pediatric advocacy and community outreach, as well as medical education, and completed a MScCH Health Practitioner Teachers Education degree through the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. She continued to complete a Departmental Fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She is board certified through the American Academy of Pediatrics in both General Pediatrics as well as Pediatric Hospital Medicine.

Dr. Hilal is excited to join the Kindercare Team and serve children of the GTA as a primary care and consulting pediatrician. Outside of the office, Dr. Hilal enjoys spending time with her friends and family, playing with her toddler, and exploring new neighborhoods in Toronto.
