MIT Researcher, Deb Roy, video and audio taped virtually every moment – 90,000 hours worth – of his and his family’s life at home.  He then developed impressive ways to analyze the data, and in so doing, innovated brand new and incredibly exciting was to study how children learn language.  He then applied his research to study how we communicate on a mass scale, collecting terabytes and terabytes of data from both social media and conventional mass media broadcasts. His results will blow your mind.
